This is an awesome take on "Overpopulation" hysteria

Mr. Wright makes an awesome case to be a contrarian - especially when it comes to being open to children.
"For all practical purposes, under regimes and laws where human genius is free to discover new solutions to shortages, and when the market is free to raise and lower prices to signal where real shortages obtain, and where a futures market is able to operate to render scarce goods more expensive thereby preserving those needed for future use from current use, then the mere physical limits on land, on oil, on metals, or on any other good you care to name, serve no limit to human population growth.
"In other words, when man is free, then Natural resources are infinite."

Merry Christmas tydings to all!!
It is my wish that everyone has a blessed Christmas and focuses on the reason for the season.
I got an early Christmas present at the American Thinker, American Thinker , in it, Selwyn Duke, challenges the notion that Jesus was made up from the Indo-Iranian god Mithras and the Roman god Sol. And people often seem to confuse these two deities and their festivals, mixing and matching them in a game of musical myths. But it doesn't really matter because both Mithras' and Sol's mythical births, we're told, occurred on the same day: December 25th. The substitute priest at our parish even brought this up during his sermon (Lord, please heal our pastor, Fr. Lee!)
Also, the Christmasphobes make a fairly common mistake: They take "pagan" as synonymous with "evil." If you're trying to make Christianity look bad, equating it with paganism while implying the paganism is evil just makes paganism look bad.

I've got a new Grandson...
I've got a new grandson, Isaac. He was born this morn, the 24th, at 9:45. He checked in at 8 lbs, 15 oz. and was 21 and 3/4 in. long...
Grandparents are ecstatic, Mom & Dad are very tired. (Who wouldn't be after 27 hours of labor!)
