Another NEW Sailor...

Following on the footsteps of his brother, my number six has completed Navy Bootcamp at Great Lakes.
He said the secret to his success was to keep ones mouth SHUT & do what you are told.

After completing his basic training (and dealing with the aftermath of the stuff his Marine Corps brothers' put on letters to him!), he's on his way to his "A" school.

It's A Boy!

My 1st Grandson, Ayden William checked in this morning at 9 lbs 7 oz & 21 in long at 9:50 AM. He & his Mom are doing well. Grandparents are ecstatic. More to follow...

To honor those who serve...

This is to honor my two of my sons who are in Navy boot camp. They will be joining their two older brother who are US Marines.

A thought I had at Mass this morning...

I get accused of being "holier than thou" even though my faults are numerous & public. All I can say is that I have to to at least make the attempt to folow the Lord. They wouldn't REALLY want me to act as if there were no God. I'm WAY WAY TOO MUCH like St. Louie De Montforte.
